We’ve got four more days of Halloween/Fall themed fun left in Indianapolis, so here’s a quick run down of what’s happening where this weekend! (Most venues close their Halloween activities on Sunday, October 30th this year.)
The Headless Horseman at Conner Praire, Vampire Vacation at the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, and Fun at Kelsay Farms are all still running this weekend. Here are a few more fun things to consider this weekend (there’s no way anyone can do them all, but hopefully you can do a few!):
ZooBoo at the the Indianapolis Zoo– Enjoy trick or treating through the zoo, fun Halloween themed activities, and exquisite Halloween displays throughout the zoo at this annual event.
Ghoulish Garfield– Enjoy some family fun at the Garfield Park Art Center Thursday and Friday night. Games and crafts are free, spooky tours are $1, and hayrides are $2.
Irvington Halloween Festival- Historic Irvington hosts a full week of activities culminating in a Halloween Street Fair on Saturday, October 28th. A full schedule is on their website, and includes live music, costume contest, and a costume parade!
Safe Trick or Treat
Are you looking for an alternative to trudging door-to-door on Halloween night?
Safe Trick or Treat at IUPUI– Children can enjoy a fun night of trick or treating on the campus of IUPUI compliments of the chapter of National Society of Black Engineers.
Washington Square Mall, Castleton Square Mall, and Greenwood Park Mall all offer safe trick or treating. See each website for details. Depending on the weather, walking through the mall and collecting candy is sometimes a great option!
Mall-o-Ween at Clay Terrace- Enjoy Halloween activities and trick or treating at this Carmel outdoor shopping mall.
Trunk or Treat at the Indiana State Fairgrounds– Enjoy a night at the Indiana State Fairgrounds filled with Halloween fun!
Candy Buy Back
Did your family go overboard on the trick or treating this year? Does nobody eat Starburst in your house? New Era Dental is hosting a candy buy back program. All collected candy will be sent to U.S. troops.
What else is going on around town that can’t be missed?
