We spend a lot of time at the ball park these days!
With two girls in softball, we have practice 4 nights per week. Then, they each have 1-2 games per week. The tournament is coming up in a few weeks, and we’ll be at the ball park every day for the first half of June.
Here’s the thing: I don’t mind it.
Even in little league, there’s an excitement and energy to the ball park. I love the smells. The food. The sun on my back as I watch the game. The memories of my own years on the field.
So, it means a lot to me to share that with my girls from the stands. We took them to their first Indians game last summer — and they absolutely loved it! I was a bit concerned, since the game ended well after their bedtime, but none of the girls ever lost interest.
My two ball players loved seeing a real, professional team in action. The teen kinda dug people watching. And, all three girls are as crazy in love with ball park food as I am. We had popcorn, cotton candy, and an awesome family picnic with Indiana Family of Farmers, as part of their Family Night event.
On June 11th, as the Indianapolis Indians take on the Rochester Red Wings, Family of Farmers is hosting another Family Night — and one of our lucky readers will be invited to attend with your family!

My favorite thing about the ballpark is spending quality family time….
We have only just started our little league adventure. I love watching the t-ballers learn about the game of baseball and seeing their faces as they play. I love the excitement from everyone. I love how excited the kids are to play.

We love going to the games! Nothing beats some outdoor family fun and trying to help your kids catch a foul ball or a home run!
As a family of 7 we love summer & baseball is a new favorite for my 2 boys! So seeing a real game would make their summer!
I love watching the kids take inthe ball game and singing during the 7th inning stretch!
My favorite thing about the ballpark is that when I went to the park as a kid in Milwaukee, they had a slide that someone would slide down every time a player hit a home run. I loved the smell, sounds and excitement of a baseball game. As an adult, I still live to go to baseball games. It is one of the most basic American pastimes and I live sharing it w my noys

I liiked Family Farmers on FB. My oldest granddaughter has been playing softball for over three years, plays on her HS team now and on travel team, the Mayhem. I would love to be able to take several of my grandkids to see an Indian’s Game. I have never been to one so it would be an adventure for me too!
I haven’t been since I was a kid but the total experience is awesome! The game, the stadium, the food everything! Our son is 6 and has never been to a game, he would love it!

We absolutely love the ball park. I have younger and older kids and they each find something to love, whether that is the game itself, the people watching, getting to see the players up close or just the excitement of the experience. We absolutely love getting to go to the ball park for a game!
